How Much Is Your Home Worth?
Market Value Versus Sentimental Value.
Contrary to our personal feelings, fond memories of all the good times you’ve spent in your home are not the things to focus on when putting your home on the market. Determining your properties worth entails figuring out it’s market value not it’s sentimental value.
Market value is best determined by obtaining a Comparable Market Analysis from a qualified professional real estate agent. A market analysis will focus on similar homes that are currently on the market, pending sales, sold properties or expired listings in your area within the past three to six months. Comparisons are made on homes in your area with similar characteristics such as lot size, number of bedrooms, number of baths, square footage and updates.
A real estate professional can help you analyze and understand all the factors that contribute to setting the proper asking price for your property in order to achieve a successful sale.
