Podcasting is basically a way of gathering data in audio format. An audio version of a blog if you like. You can subscribe to a PodCast feed if you like to always ensure that you are up to date. The big draw to them is their portability. For instance if you are in a hurry and want to listen to it you can download it to your MP3 player and then listen to it on the move.
