Central Ohio Communities: Developer Partnering With Local Governments to Bring Services to Different Local Communities

Mo Dioun of Stonehenge Land Company is working with many central Ohio local govenments on different public private partnership projects in many communities such as Gahanna where the school board are looking at purchasing an old Kroger site for $5.6 million and converting the space into high school classrooms, offices and storage space. The man behind the deal is, indeed Mr. Dioun. His company would create the faciltiies for the local school board and also build some retail space nearby.

In Gahanna, he is best known for the $40 million Creekside project in downtown which is a mixed use development with condominiums, park space, restaurants and shopping. Mr. Dioun is also planning similar projects in Dublin and Grove City, again using financing from the local government.

Mr. Dioun believes that his Public Private Partnership projects are a way for him to help put back into a community what you take out of it by providing public services quickly and efficiently which are for the benefit of all. All very exciting and I am sure, will be watched closely in the coming months!
