New Albany Ohio Area Real Estate: 108 Acres of Land Purchased to make up 1200 Acre Metro Park
The New 1,200 acrea Metro Park is starting to take shape with the recent assembly of 300 acres in Northeastern Franklin County, Ohio. Also, 108 acres have been purchased from New Albany Links Development Company for a great deal of $400,000.
The Metro Park will also have 43.5 acres of protected wetland for wildlife on non buildable land. The Metro Park Project shows that the region is in demand by people and businesses are looking to relocate to the area. The venture is being orchistrated by Metro Parks, Columbus, New Albany and Plain Township who have collectively agreed to create the 1,200-acre park within 2,800 acres in northern Plain Township along the Delaware County line. They’ve pledged $13 million toward its creation.
