New Albany & Central Ohio Real Estate: What an Obama Presidency Means for Housing

It is the question that is on the tip of everybody’s tongues! What will an Obama Presidency mean for the housing market and the future of the Real Estate industry?

Despite two months to go before the inauguration, many people are anxious to speculate on what Obama will do with housing, particularly with a higher number of Democrats in the house who will support him.

Additionally there is not a lot of legislative time left to push through any measures. Although Democrat leaders in the Senate and Congress have said that they would like to push through an ambitious economic stimulus plan which would help the housing market by helping existing homeowners and helping the number of home sales increase.

However it is expected that on the start of Obama’s first term there will be widescale mortgage and lending reform. To help protect the future homeowners and the existing homeowners.

With alot of speculation there is much uncertainty, however there is only one thing which you can count on, there will be many people watching the transition and the first few months of the new Presidency to see what Obama will do for the industry.
