New Albany Ohio Business Park Expansion: Nationwide Mutual To Build Data Center

With a great rate of expansion and a stable local economy not to mention a great proximity to one of the largest urban centers in the United States, it is no wonder that so many national companies want their headquarters in New Albany, or more precisely, at the Business park! Don’t even get us started on the fiber optics network either! :-)

The area is really doing well. Abercrombie and Fitch are headquartered there and are one of the largest fashion brands in the country with a huge following worldwide.  The business park itself celebrated its 10th birthday recently and this new plan for Nationwide to build a data center really adds to the centers celebrations.

The data center will roughly create 40 jobs for the center itself and construction is expected to begin in 2010 with completion in 2011. This really is great news as the center will be a flagship for the Research and Development District at the business park in New Albany Ohio.

Also, with the planned expansion of the area to create a 700 acre R&D center for the region, it is no wonder that so many area keen to ensure this development goes well as it will be a real boost for the regional economy and will boost revenue for the local authorities.
