Canal Winchester Ohio Community: City Council Gives Green Light for Bike Path

The time to get fit is now! Canal Winchester council has given the green light for $99,000 to be spent on completing the village bike path.

The Columbus Metro area prides itself in offering a high quality of life and activity for its residents. The path runs along Groveport Road from the municipal pool to Gender Road. Construction is expected to be completed in fall 2009. So far the council has spent $400,000 on the path.

Parks and Recreation have applauded the path as it will allow people to travel and exercise in Canal Winchester and save them leaving the area to use their bicycle.

Canal Winchester is a great community of 6000 people founded in 1828 and features gorgeous historic buildings.
