Central Ohio Real Estate: Is Real Estate Improving?

Real estate values are picking up in Columbus Ohio
According to a recent report from the Federal Reserve, residential real estate has improved. This is one indicator that the U.S. economy is stabilizing or even improving. The question is whether real estate in Central Ohio is improving, too.
According to statistics listed at Trulia.com, real estate sales in Columbus, Ohio may not be higher in volume, but the median sales price has increased 18.2% (compared with a year ago) and the average price per square foot has climbed 21.5% (compared with the third quarter of 2008).
Real estate sales in New Albany, Blacklick, and Gahanna have yet to show the same improvement, but are likely to follow the positive trend. If the Columbus real estate market continues to improve, its suburbs should soon follow.
