The village council in New Albany OH unanimously approved tax incentives for three business this past Tuesday, November 16th. These businesses are expected to bring about 570 new jobs to New Albany to boost the local economy. The companies approved for tax incentives include Communicare, Vee Pak Ohio, and Knowlton Development Corporation. Communicare is expected to build a 115 bed medical complex for transitional care and intense rehabilitation services, adding 250 new jobs to the area. Vee Pak is planning a production facility that creates packages and labels for personal-care products, while the Knowlton Development Corp. is looking to add another building for their personal care and beauty operations as well, both adding about 320 jobs combined.
