Get ready for the Taste of New Albany at Market Square! Come hungry on August 4, where more than 25 local restaurants will have servings of their favorite menu items. Keep an eye out for samples from Blue Agave, Gigi’s Cupcakes, Roosters, Rusty Buckey and more. The event will start off with a wine and liquer tasting at 4 p.m. followed by food and live music.
Arts Events in the Columbus Area
The Wexner Center for the Arts in Columbus will have a showing of Luis Bunuel’s Nazarin on July 18 at 7 p.m. as part of its Summer Abroad ’13 series. Additionally, at the Wexner Center Plaza, there will be an outdoor showing of The Graduate. The movie usually starts around 9 p.m., but most people get there around 8 p.m. for the food.
Westerville is having its 40th annual Music and Arts Festival this weekend, July 13-14 starting at 11 a.m. Browse the works of local artists and listen to live music. Performing musicians include: Jessijem, The Select Phaze, Donna Mogavero, Blues Reveler and many more.
Outdoor and Sporting Events This July in Central Ohio
The Association for the Developmentally Disabled in Worthington will be having a fundraising golf tournament on July 19 at the Jefferson Country Club in Blacklick. Lunch and dinner will be included, and there will be a silent auction and raffle. Be sure to purchase your tickets if you’d like to attend.
Hilliard will be holding the Tidd Family Camp Out on July 19 at 6 p.m. at the Roger Reynolds Municipal Park. Sleep under the stars in your tent and sleeping bag, and look forward to an evening of fishing, a scavenger hunt, a hay ride, movie and more!
