Short North Arts District Gallery Hop

When: Saturday November 1st [4pm-10pm]

Where: Short North Arts District [North High Street from Goodale Blvd to Fifth Avenue]

Admission: Free!

What: Occurs every first Saturday of each month, thousands of visitors converge on the strip to see new art exhibits and add to their growing collections. With dozens of galleries and non-traditional exhibit spaces, it’s Columbus’ favorite night of the month to celebrate art.

Broadway In Columbus: The Lion King

When:  November 1st – November 9th

Where: Ohio Theatre [39 E State Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215]

What: Experience the phenomenon of Disney’s The Lion King when Columbus? best-loved musical makes a triumphant return to the Ohio Theatre! Columbus International Festival

When:  November 8th – November 9th [Saturday 10am-9pm, Sunday 10am-6pm]

Where: Ohio Expo Center [717 E 17th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43211]

Admission: Children 6-12: $2, Seniors and students: $5, Adults: $7

What: Each year approximately 175-200 booths representing nearly 75 cultures offer arts, crafts, entertainment, and food.

Halloween Pet Parade

When: Sunday October 19th [12pm-2pm]

Where: Easton Town Center [160 Easton Town Center, Columbus, OH 43219]

Admission: Free!

What: The Halloween Pet Parade is a fun, fall event that encourages participants to dress up their pets in festive Halloween costumes.

16th Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony

When: Friday November 21st [6pm-7pm]

Where: Easton Town Center [160 Easton Town Center, Columbus, Ohio 43219]

What: Join us for our 16th Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony. Help us celebrate the simple and unexpected joys of the holidays with entertainment that will involve, engage, and surprise.

Gahanna Holiday Lights Parade and Lighting

When: Sunday November 23rd [5pm-8pm]

Where: Granville Street To Mill Street [Gahanna, Ohio 43230]

What: The flurry of activity is just beginning when the sun goes down as Ohio’s premier evening parade begins and warms the crowd with lighted floats. This event has become one of the largest nighttime illuminated holiday events in the Midwest.

ChristmasFair

When: Saturday November 22nd & Sunday November 23rd [10am-5pm]

Where: Aladdin Shrine Center [3850 Stelzer Road, Columbus, Ohio 43219]

Admission: $6, Children free

What: 2014 marks the 28th anniversary of ChristmasFair. The annual show features 150 artists and crafters from throughout the Midwest selling their handmade wares including pottery, jewelry, folk art, photography and wearable art, truly something for everyone!
