Upcoming Community Events – June 2015

Columbus Clippers Baseball vs. Toledo

When: Monday, June 1st – Wednesday, June 3rd [7:05PM (M/T), 11:35PM (W)]

Where: Huntington Park [330 Huntington Park Lane, Columbus, OH 43215]

What: Come cheer on the Columbus Clippers, Triple-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians and enjoy breathtaking views of Huntington Park, one of the best ballparks in the U.S.

Tastings on the Terrace

When: Thursday, June 4th [6:30-9PM]

Where: Franklin Park Conservatory [1777 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43203]

Admission: $75

What: Community leaders and young professionals come together for an evening of great music, delicious tastings from local restaurants and fine liquors on the Conservatory’s beautiful West Terrace.

2015 Memorial Golf Tournament

When: June 1st – June 7th [8AM-5PM]

Where: Muirfield Village Golf Club [5750 Memorial Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017]

What: Watch the world’s best professional golfers at the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide. Hosted by golf legend Jack Nicklaus at his own internationally acclaimed Muirfield Village Golf Club, the Tournament is played each year in the conspicuous honor of greats of the game.

Park Street Festival

When: Friday, June 12th – Saturday, June 13th [Friday 5-12AM, Saturday 12PM-12AM]

Where: Park Street

Admission: Free

What: The 9th annual Park Street Festival will be held Friday, June 12th and Saturday, June 13th in the Arena District. Park Street Festival is a two-day event featuring live music, arts & crafts, family fun, delicious food and great music for all ages. The festivities will begin on Friday June 12th at 5 pm and continues through the evening of Saturday June 13th. Whether you’re a parent looking for a great way to spend an afternoon with your kids, a food lover eager to taste an eclectic mix of the best food trucks & carts in Columbus, or a music fan looking to hear great live music and enjoy camaraderie among 20,000 friends, Park Street Festival is one event that offers something for everyone.

KidsLinked Columbus Children’s Festival

What: Come to OSU’s Fred Beekman park for this free children’s festival and enjoy Youth Sports Tournaments sponsored by the Arnold Sports Festival, Youth Sports Clinics, Ohio Machine Lax Clinic, 5K, 1M & 1/2 M Bubble Blast! Zoofari 2015

When: Saturday, June 20th [7:30PM-12AM]

Where: Columbus Zoo & Aquarium [4850 W Powell Road, Powell, OH 43065]

Admission: $99/Person – Until June 7th, $150/Person – Until June 18th & 19th

What: Zoofari 2015 presented by Nationwide Insurance, is the Zoo’s annual, adults-only fundraiser featuring more than 100 central Ohio restaurants and bars serving appetizer portions of their signature dishes and specialty drinks. Guest “graze” their way through the Zoo enjoying live entertainment on multiple stages scattered throughout Zoo grounds. Buckeye Country Superfest

When: Saturday, June 20th – Sunday, June 21st

Where: Ohio Stadium [411 Woody Hayes Drive, Columbus, OH 43210]

What: The first-ever Buckeye Country Superfest starts off with a country music super-talent explosion as Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, Lee Brice, Cole Swindell and others will headline the massive event to be held at historic Ohio Stadium on June 20 and 21, 2015. For two days and nights, Ohio Stadium – Ohio State University’s legendary “Horseshoe” – will become the epicenter of country music as fans from around the nation converge on Columbus for shows by many of the most popular artists in America today. Ohio Stadium will be redesigned to include an enormous rock-n-roll styled stage at one end with thousands of seats positioned on the hallowed field creating a rare stadium festival experience.

Pride Festival

When: Friday, June 19th – Sunday, June 21st

Admission: Free

Where: Goodale Park [120 W Goodale St, Columbus, OH 43215]

What: The largest event in the Midwest, the Pride Festival attracts more than 300,000 attendees. The event includes a parade on Saturday, along with more than 180 vendors, two music stages and a family area.

2015 Columbus Summer Avant-Garde Art & Craft Show

When: Saturday, June 27th [10AM-4PM]

Admission: Free

Where: St. Agatha’s Parish Hall [1860 Northam Road, Upper Arlington, OH 43221]

What: If you love shopping local, the trendy arts/craft scene and finding one-of-a-kind items, this event has you covered! This large show will feature nearly 100 artists and crafters selling their original handmade items!
