The grand opening of the new store was held Dec. 13.  The 13,000 square foot store is family owned and  offers a variety of unique products that come directly from Mexico and South America.

Owner Sergio Perez Saldana and his wife, Maria, also own the El Manjar De Los Portales Mexican restaurant in Reynoldsburg had this to say:  “In the city of Reynoldsburg, there is not like a really Latino supermarket and we feel we are offering to the people a lot of different stuff, you know…We have a lot of American produce, but we try to put in a little bit of everything so whoever comes in they can find whatever they are looking for.”

Reynoldsburg Ohio Community: New Amendment to code ordinances approved

November 11th, 2008 The Raines Group Posted in Ohio Real Estate, Reynoldsburg, Uncategorized No Comments »

Calling all property owners in Reynoldsburg! Maintain your properties! An amendment to the city code ordinances means that if you do not maintain your property and yard, the city will maintain it for you and mail you the bill!

The City Council approved Monday an amendment to the city code ordinances to maintain vacant and overgrown properties better and faster to stop them becoming an eyesore in the local community. The amendment will go into effect December 11th if finally approved by the council. There is no longer a waiting period of 7 days for fallen trees for instance. If a code enforcement officer notices an offense they can deal with it immediately. There is even a code for length of grass - not over 6 inches!

Homeowners are largely in favor of this amendment as it protects their neighborhoods environment and appearance in Reynoldsburg. Maintaining the quality of life for residents. Particularly as the homeowner is billed and if he doesn’t pay an assessment is made on that property. Shifting the burden of the bill from the taxpayer to the offending homeowner.

Despite its status as a novel amendment, it is expected to help ensure that people strive to maintain their properties and help maintain their neighborhoods appearance by being proactive.
