Real estate sales volume for New Albany, Ohio continues to rise. The real estate tracking website, Trulia.com, shows that for the 3 week period from April 7 through 28 the sales volume for New Albany Ohio was up over 75% compared with the same 3 week period in 2009.

It is a great time to buy a New Albany home. The median sales price of a home in New Albany is approximately 19% less than it was a year ago. Combine the decrease in home prices with low mortgage rates and an ideal buyer’s market is created.

The home buyer’s tax credit is now expired but consumer confidence is remaining strong, indicating that the expiration of the credit is not going to keep a potential home buyer from jumping into the New Albany real estate market.

The statistics for April 2010 have been revealed, and The Raines Group once again has shown that they are number one in the New Albany Country Club. Of the eleven units sold, The Raines Group had nearly half of those listings, proving that they know how to get listings sold. Even more amazing is that two of the listings were on the market for less than a week before going into contract, two of them were over one million dollars, and all listings sold for over 92.8% of the lising price.

The Raines Group had similar results last month for areas outside the New Albany Country Club. Within the Plain Local School District, The Raines Group claimed over 20% of the listings, one in contract after just one day on the market, and all sold for over 97.5% of their listing price.

The sales volume in New Albany Ohio real estate has increased. According to real estate website Trulia.com, the number of real estate sales in New Albany Ohio is up for the three week period from February 17 through March 10, compared with the same time period a year ago. The sales volume is 25% greater than in 2009.

It is an ideal buyer’s market when it come to New Albany real estate. Home values are down, the home buyer tax credit is still available, and mortgage rates are hovering in the 5% range.
