Today, we’re going to round out my list by telling you about several more recreational amenities in the Columbus area that you and your family should definitely check out before school starts back up in the fall.
Make Priceless Family Memories at These Central Ohio Attractions
Anthony Thomas Factory Tour: This is a great way to learn about history and enjoy some tasty treats along the way. This company is considered one of the largest family-owned and operated candy companies in the Midwest, employing more than 200 people and produce roughly 50,000 pounds of chocolates daily. Incredible!
Graeter’s Scoops and Chutes Play Area: For younger families, this is a great shop. Not only will your kids be worn out from running around the playplace but they’ll also get to spend some quality time with you as you both enjoy some delicious and refreshing ice-cream.
Central Ohio Parks: Did you know that there are 16 natural park areas with more than 175 miles of trials in Central Ohio? Check them out and simultaneously enjoy the summer weather.
Easton Mall Splash area: This popular attraction also offers towel service, ample seating and close proximity to concessions. It’s a wonderful place to beat the heat during the summertime.
Barnett Recreation Center Sprayground Playground: Another popular place to cool down during the summertime, this place is located at 1184 Barnett Road on Columbus’ east side. It features a number of spinning, spraying water features, some of which are hands-on while others are automated. It’s a memorable tie for everyone!
Columbus Commons: This 9-acre park is located in the heart of downtown Columbus and even hosts a carousel. Plenty of green space here and a bevy of activities that will engage your child.
