Red, White, and Boom!
When: Friday, July 3rd (Noon-11PM; fireworks begin at 10PM)
Where: Downtown riverfront and the Arena District
What: The biggest and best Independence Day fireworks celebration in the Midwest will be fired from its location along the downtown riverfront in Columbus, displaying a vibrant look with an exciting environment. Enjoy great food, music and fireworks at Red, White and Boom!

Picnic with the Pops: Patriotic Pops and Fireworks!

Where: 160 S. High Street, Columbus, OH 43215
Admission: $30
What: Columbus’ grand summer tradition continues as the Columbus Symphony celebrates the Fourth of July. Featuring the Columbus Gay Men’s Chorus and conductor Albert-George Schram. Wave the flag, clap your hands, and stomp your feet to patriotic favorites and rousing Sousa marches, including “The Stars and Stripes Forever” and other favorites. The evening is topped off with a brilliant fireworks display.

Cirque du Soleil: Kooza
When: June 4 – July 5 (Tuesdays-Thursdays 8:00PM, Fridays-Saturdays 4:30 & 8:00PM., Sunday 1:00 & 5:00PM)
Where: Under the blue and yellow Big Top (115 W. Mound Street, Columbus, OH 43223)
What: Cirque du Soleil will return to Columbus with KOOZA, a big-top show. Columbus will be the first U.S. stop after the European tour of KOOZA, set in a zany kingdom and billed as a return to the roots of the troupe with a blend of clowning and acrobatics. After premiering in 2007 in Montreal, Canada, KOOZA has been seen by more than 4 million people in 43 cities and 12 countries on three continents.
