Doo Dah Parade

What: The Doo Dah Parade in Columbus, Ohio, is a celebration of life, liberty and the pursuit of literary lunacy. The one-day satirical party features a one-of-a-kind parade filled with characters in costume, humorous political debates, satirists’ readings, a singing of the National Anthem, live music and a post parade block party.

New Albany Independence Day 5K
When: Wednesday, July 4th [8AM-9:30AM]
Where: Market Square [Market Street, New Albany, Ohio 43054]
What: 5K Run/Walk, Kids Crawl, and Kids FUN Run benefiting the New Albany Symphony Orchestra and local nonprofit performing arts groups. The run is followed by the New Albany Fourth of July Parade.

Taylor Swift at Ohio Stadium

Where: Ohio Stadium [411 Woody Hayes Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43210]
What: The first round of dates for Taylor Swift’s reputation Stadium Tour were announced hours after the ten-time GRAMMY winner performed “Ready For It?” and “Call It What You Want” from the unanimously critically-acclaimed album, reputation, on “Saturday Night Live.” Taylor Swift’s reputation Stadium Tour includes a play on Saturday, July 7 at Ohio Stadium.

COSI After Dark – Christmas in July
When: Thursday, July 12th [6PM-10PM]
Where: COSI [333 W Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215]
What: Geek out with grown-ups and explore COSI, ride the High Wire Unicycle, enjoy special themed activities, concessions and a cash bar. No time to eat before coming? Add food to your COSI After Dark ticket. Offering a variety of small plates, guests who purchase this food ticket receive a wristband for all-you-can eat menu items. Buffet is open from 6:00-8:30.

Sugarland

What: Sugarland revealed the 48 cities that will be on their Still The Same 2018 tour. Among them is Columbus on July 12. Sugarland’s signature ballad “Stay” won the five-time CMA-winning artists a Grammy for best country performance by a duo or group with vocals in 2008. Since 2011, Nettles and Bush have each recorded as solo acts. Nettles catalogue incudes That Girl (2014), Playing With Fire (2016) and To Celebrate Christmas (2016). Bush released Gravity in 2015 and produced Lindsay Ells newest album, The Project.

Jazz & Rib Fest
