Spring is blooming in Central Ohio. Events are starting to pop up all around the area as the weather becomes warmer and the plants come back to life.

Mother’s Day Activities
When: Sunday, May 9th
Where: Various Locations
What: Celebrate Your Mom
- Free Mother’s Day Photos at Easton (1-4 PM) at the Central Park Fountain. Dependent on weather.
- Easton Carriage Rides on Mother’s Day from 3-7 PM, pick-up across from Eddie Bauer, the cost is $10 per person, children under 15 ride for free with paying adult.
- Mom and Grandma get in the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium for free with paid child or grandchild admission.
Election Night with Columbus Gives Back
When: May 4, 7:15 PM- 10:30 PM
Where: Board of Elections, Columbus
What: Celebrate our democracy in the most patriotic way- assisting the election processes for the upcoming Ohio Primary. Work with Columbus Gives Back to unload vehicles as they return from the polling stations and sorting items and delivering them to wherever they need to go.

When: May 8, 7-10 PM
Where: Franklin Park Conservatory, Columbus
What: Chihuly glass is a beautiful colorful glass artwork that is incredible to see. Franklin Park Conservatory is home to the largest private collection of Chihuly glass in a botanical garden. The glass is professionally lit to create a stellar view of the conservatory at night! There is limited availability, so be sure to register soon!
Columbus Taco Fest Grab-N-Go 2021
When: May 15 & 16, 12-7 PM
Where: Ohio History Connection, Columbus
What: Local Tacos, Tequila, & Music- does it get any better? Columbus Taco Fest is a wonderful way to get your street food fix, find your new favorite taco business, and support local food vendors. Food and drinks will be available for pre-order in the StreetFoodFinder app and feed your cravings with ease!

Columbus Clippers Home Games
When: May 11-16th & 25-30, varying times
Where: Huntington Park, Columbus
What: Minor League Baseball is back, and luckily, so are fans this year! Tickets are available as follows, Box seats: $13 in advance; $15 on game day. Reserved seats: adults $10; children 12 and under $7. General admission: adults $7; children 12 and under $4. These deals will have you singing, “Take Me Out to the Ballgame!”

Memorial Day Festivities
When: May 23-31
Where: National Veterans Memorial & Museum, Columbus
What: Honor our brave veterans who have lost their lives in order to protect our nation by visiting the National Veterans Memorial and Museum or attending one of their many events for Memorial Day!
Events are as follows- National Veterans Memorial and Museum Run, Walk, Ruck & Roll (virtual event: register by May 15 and complete your run, walk, ruck or roll the week of Memorial Day); The Wall That Heals (the exhibit will be open May 28-31); Gold Star Candlelight Vigil (May 28); Ride to National Veterans Memorial and Museum (May 29); Exclusive Premiere Screening of Tracie Hunter’s Newest Documentary (details coming soon); and Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony (May 31, 10-11 AM).
