Stonewall Columbus PRIDE

When: Throughout the month of June

Where: Columbus, OH

What: Celebrate the LGBTQ+ community through Stonewall Columbus’ PRIDE festivities!

Got a love for bike riding? Sign up for the Pride (Bike) Ride Challenge from June 1st – 30th presented by Pelatonia. Simply log your miles from wherever you may bike (indoors or out) for the chance to earn prizes all month! Maybe you’re not the biggest biker, but you still wanna move around… take part in the PRIDE SPF 21 5K – Run / Walk / Roll! This event will take place between June 5th and 6th, but can be extended through June 30! Each participant receives an SPF 21 Race Bib, SPF 21 Tee Shirt, and SPF 21 Finisher Medals.

Join in on the Tea Dance Around Town for some dancing, free pizza, and beverages on June 13th!

And for the big event, the COLUMBUS PRIDE VIRTUAL MARCH will be taking place online at June 19th, starting at 9:30 AM! Watch from the comfort of wherever you please!

Franklin Park Conservatory Farmer’s Market

When: Every Wednesday, June 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th

Where: Franklin Park Conservatory

What: The free Franklin Park Conservatory Farmers Market is located outdoors in the main Conservatory parking lot, just off of East Broad Street and two miles east of downtown Columbus. Vendors offer a mix of local produce, baked goods, specialty foods, handmade items, and health and beauty products.

The Market accepts EBT for all qualifying purchases and offers incentive dollars through the Produce Perks Columbus program (formerly known as Veggie SNAPS) for fresh produce for all EBT users.

Jurassic Quest Drive-Thru

Dinosaur

When: June 4th – 13th, hours vary

Where: Ohio Expo Center & Fair

What: The new Jurassic Quest Drive-Thru version of the show features over 70 life-like dinosaurs, including the very popular T. Rex. Jurassic Quest’s herd of animatronic dinos are displayed in realistic scenes that allow guests to experience them roaring and moving from their own vehicles as they drive their way through the tour. Baby dinosaurs greet guests and bring big smiles to explorers of all ages. During the drive-thru experience, guests are guided by an engaging and informative digital audio tour that lasts for about an hour, featuring show entertainers and dino wranglers. Guests stay in their cars throughout the tour with limited contact, if any, with staff who wear masks, social distance, and follow all state and local guidelines regarding health and safety.

Concerts in Rose Run Park

When: June 17th, July 15th & August 19th from 6:30 – 7:30 PM

Where: Scenic Overlook at Rose Run Park

What: Grab dinner from the Farmers Market food trucks and join members of the New Albany Symphony at the Scenic Overlook for a free impromptu performance. The Scenic Overlook is located in the eastern portion of Rose Run Park across from the new Hinson Amphitheater and New Albany Middle School. Parking is available in Market Square and the Scenic Overlook can be accessed by the bridge next to the Cottage Salon.

Worthington Art’s Fest

When: June 19th from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM & June 20th from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Where: Downtown Worthington

What: The Worthington Arts Festival is one of Central Ohio’s premier arts and crafts shows. The show is held on the lawn in front of the Peggy R. McConnell Arts Center of Worthington, on the grounds of Thomas Worthington High School.

Free Summer Concert Series (Music for a Cause)

When: Every Thursday, June through August

Where: Polaris Fashion Place

What: The shows will start at 6:45 PM and end at 9:15 PM. There will also be local food trucks on-site serving a tasty, local dinner for you and your family to enjoy. Each week will also feature a local charity who will be selling alcoholic beverages for guests over 21, with all proceeds going directly to the charity.

VIP Princess Party

When: Saturday, June 19th from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Where: Greater Columbus Convention Center

What: Join the princesses for stories, songs, dances, and a magical meet & greet!

Pose for photos, get autographs, and create memories at a VIP Princess Party, which includes plenty of crafts and pixie wishes.
